| The cultural exchange activities are to be made in accordance with the different characteristics of visitors, including: (1) introduction to the educational system of China at different levels, and campus tour; (2) thematic lectures on introduction to China's history, ideology of Confucians, reform and opening-up policy of China, etc.; (3) visit to historical places of interests, including natural and humanity landscapes; (4) introduction to local folk-customs in China; (5) interactive exchange between students of China and overseas; (6) forum or symposium on special subjects, in which the related governmental organizations, non-governmental institutions and trade associations are supposed to be invited to attend; (7) setting-up platform for overseas and domestic universities and colleges; (8) short-term courses for students of overseas universities, introducing the culture, history, political system and the status quo of China, reform and opening-up policy, and educational system, etc.; (9) home stay for foreign students in local Chinese families, to experience the real life of Chinese people, to study intensive Chinese language, and to get the knowledge of Chinese calligraphy, martial arts of China, Taiji, Chinese Cuisine, and Chinese traditional medicine. |
