Course Content
We like to talk ‘about’ psychology and its various concepts,
facts and theories so we will have one part theory along with
learning some valuable tools to use that will make significant
changes in your life. There will be time for sharing about
the ideas and practical applications that are offered:
Feelings and thoughts; the psychodynamic and the cognitive
tradition.
Practical
tools for communication and relationships.
What is
normal and what is pathological?
What is
caused by environment and what is caused by biology?
Expat life;
Being an expat, expat kids (TCK’s) and expat marriages.
Practical
tools for single life, relationships, marriage and parenting.
Working
through relational memories via role plays and group support.
What do they
mean when they say Genogram? Can I make one?
Lifelines
and Milestones - what is your personal life history?
Relaxation
techniques – some guaranteed stress relievers to learn.
Participants’ profile
This is a course for everyone wanting to further develop their
knowledge of the field of Psychology, a class of ‘learning
about’, learning directly and offering time for personal sharing
as well.
Teaching methodology
Learning by
listening and learning by doing; what is Psychology and what are
its contributions to our society, its institutions, social
groups and to us – as families, couples and individuals.
Lecturing
with case studies and examples.
Group
exercises, group work and discussions.

Tuition fees may be submitted by cash, bank card or
credit card. With the original receipt, a refund in full can be made if
the prospective student notifies us in writing of his/her withdrawal
from the course one week before the commencement date. If using a
foreign bank card, a non-refundable charge of approximately 3.1% of the
tuition fee (about RMB140) will be deducted by the bank to cover
transaction costs.
