Course Content
Managing HR in China’s increasingly diverse, dynamic, and complicated environment is more challenging than ever before. In this workshop, we will explore the challenges managers face in this competitive and rapidly changing environment. Topics include perception, motivation, decision making, delegation, communication, job and organizational design, leadership skills, and team-building and office politics.

   The course will focus practical skills for today’s manager and anyone who hopes to be a manager in the future. To list just a few, the course will help answer the following questions.

    How can a manager:

 Build a stronger team inside the office;
 Help prevent misunderstandings in the communication process;
 Delegate tasks to subordinates and get better results;
 Prevent groupthink and encourage more creative thinking;
 Make the performance appraisal process more beneficial;
 Avoid the traps created by office politics; and
 Provide stronger leadership inside the organization?

Tuition fee: RMB 3800 (25 hours)

Spring Session

Section A: Wednesday evenings (6:30 PM – 9:30 PM)
                   8 weeks from March 11th to May 6th, 2009 (Course code: HR120)

Autumn Session (registration closed)

Section A: Wednesday mornings (9:30 AM – 12:00 AM)
                   8 weeks from October 15th to December 17th, 2008 (Course code: HR117)

Section B: Wednesday evenings (6:30 PM – 9:00 PM)
                   8 weeks from October 15th to December 17th, 2008 (Course code: HR118)

Tuition fees may be submitted by cash, bank card or credit card. With the original receipt, a refund in full can be made if the prospective student notifies us in writing of his/her withdrawal from the course one week before the commencement date. If using a foreign bank card, a non-refundable charge of approximately 3.1% of the tuition fee (about RMB140) will be deducted by the bank to cover transaction costs.
