With twenty one years of experiences in the financial services
industry in the United States, Helen Wang joined the Shanghai Jiao Tong
University to fulfill her passion for teaching. Helen earned her MBA in
Finance at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She graduated from
Kean University in Union, New Jersey with a Bachelor’s degree in
Business Management. In 1986, she relocated to California and started
her career in Los Angeles.
Helen has held various positions with major institutions including
Coutts (USA) International, Merrill Lynch International Private Client
Services, and Wells Fargo Investments. In retail banking, she was a
Lending Officer in trade finance, commercial real estate / construction
loans and later became a Branch Manager. After achieving outstanding
performance, she moved to the Private Client Services and Investments
arena as a Private Banker /Vice President and subsequently Financial
Consultant. |
Familiar with both banking and investments, Helen has effectively helped
customers on issues ranging from home purchase to estate planning. Having
served affluent clientele originally from 16 countries, she is sensitive to
and capable of dealing with multi-cultural differences.
Helen enjoys living in Shanghai as her parents and grand parents were all
born in Shanghai. Her grand father was a successful entrepreneur in the
1930’s. She desires to contribute to the advancement of financial services
in this city which was once the center of Asia.
